Happy Birthday
I have to say I seem to miss Chelstiene more today than I have since she left. She is loving her new area in Oregon and the family she is with takes good care of her. I just miss hearing her voice and seeing her. Hopefully she has a Happy Birthday.

Forgetful Mom
My dearest mother has thou forgotten me? I am doing pretty well. It's really hard trying to get to know a whole new ward! But I am getting there! I know all of our investigators and some of the ward. I don't think my companion knows how hard it is to try and memorize everyone. I have to ask often who someone is and she seems to get annoyed sometime. Which annoys me because I am trying, but what Eva. Are ward is pretty famous! We have satan from the temple movies, the Bennion's who are a well know family music group, and sister Boss who is a famous piano player and a ton of people who work a Niki headquarters. It's pretty crazy! I have been reading the Doctrine and Covenants lately and it is amazing! Have you read it before? If not you defiantly should! I love it and it gives me the inspirations that I need! How have you been? Anything new? How is the family? Brad told me that he went on a date???? Did you get to meet her? Is she nice? What car did he drive?
Your cat is a pain in the butt. Dad says he's putting him in a box s mailing him to you. He keeps making the biggest messes cuz he loves tearing things up. I have a pic I'll have to send to you.
How's your new area and companion?

Email Monday
Hey Everyone!
This week has been pretty great! We had a very wonderful surprise on Saturday...but I'll share that once I get there... ;) No cheating and scrolling down to the bottom to see what it is, okay?? Okay!
So, Monday, we taught Ashley Martin. She's super sweet. She's a recent convert as of a couple years, and she's considering going on a mission. Unfortunately, she's fallen out of the habit of coming to church and reading her scriptures and praying...but she's determined to fix that. Then, we taught Sister Payton, and she's doing well. She didn't come to church this week, though. :'(
Tuesday, we taught Sister Stover, and her dad was there. He's not active, and he's struggling with his testimony. But Sister Stover was able to testify to him of the things that have built her testimony and pushed her back to church. Her husband isn't a member (yet), but he sounds like a nice guy. He's Jehovah's Witness, so he won't read the Book of Mormon, but they read the Bible together each night, so that's awesome! We asked her about possibly having a family home evening with their family, but she doesn't think he's ready yet. But we're helping her find answers to his questions so she can share her testimony with him. :) We also got our iPads, and we had a big long meeting about how to use them--we really don't like them so far. They're kind of a pain. But once we get all of the area book (information about the people we teach) onto it, hopefully it'll be a bit easier. I do love the Gospel Library app, though, and EVERYONE WHO'S ANYONE SHOULD GET IT! We've suggested it to several of our investigators and less-actives already! It's my favorite app in the world. It has scriptures, general conference talks, videos, church history, books, church magazines, etc. Everything you could ever want! Woohoo! We also taught Sister White, and that was awesome. She's had so many deaths in her family so close together, and she feels kinda' mad at God. We showed her the Will of God video: http://www.mormonchannel.org/video/mormon-messages?v=1839005837001. She committed to come to church and start reading the Book of Mormon. Unfortunately, she didn't make it to church, but we'll see her on Thursday and talk to her again. :) We also taught Deirdre again, and guess what! She committed to come to church!!!! She wound up not coming......but we still have lots of hope. It's a big step for her to take to even say she'd try! :D We love her so much!
We got a $100 gift card to Subway from one of our members....we thought it said $10 at first...but it didn't...and we were in shock...then, we taught Jill. We love Jill. She's great! She's coming to the Relief Society activity on Thursday, and the Meads are doing a great job at fellowshipping her. We're taking her and Bob to the Visitor's Center on Sunday! :D Ward coordination went better than usual, and there was more input! Hooray!
Thursday, we had weekly planning, so we put in a bunch of stuff into our iPads. We also taught Sister Barber, and she committed to come to church!!! She even showed us the outfit she picked out! But...she didn't come. But she will soon! It's also a miracle that she even considered it. So, we have lots of hope for her! We also taught a part-member family at dinner. The husband is not a member, but he doesn't seem interested...yet. We'll work on him. He's super sweet, though. He showed us his man cave...it's pretty awesome...and his super old car. We also visited the McVays, and we always love seeing them.
Friday was awesome. It was so cool to get onto Facebook in the morning and see all the missionary posts about the Savior's love! What a great thing to think of for Valentine's Day! We also tricked the Elders into buying us lunch...we gave them our car for a couple hours...but, hey! Free lunch! We got to walk in the rain for a bit. T'was fun. Haha. Then, we visited Sister Lewis, and the doctors still don't know what's up with her blood pressure, but she has a great testimony still. We also met a really nice family who was in need. We were at the church to put records into our area book, and they just walked up to the door. I let the lady in. Her name was Christine. She told us they were living in their truck and their two-year old had just thrown up, and someone had told her to try going by the Seventh Day Adventist church (which is just down the street...but everyone always confuses our church with theirs). I definitely believe the Lord led them here instead. So, we took them inside and made at least a dozen phone calls before anyone came to help. So, we taught them about our church and showed them around. The kids were super sweet, and they seemed like a really great family. They were living with family before, but they wanted to get away from some bad drug situations. After one of the bishopric talked to them and helped them out, they kinda' disappeared...so we're not quite sure what's going on now. But even if they were just using us, the Lord knows what he's doing. He'll plant a seed in their hearts that will grow so that one day they'll be receptive to the gospel. I love them, though. A lot. We also read scriptures with Sister Mitchell and taught Brother Counts about the Plan of Salvation. T'was fun. Brother Counts is the sweetest man! I love him! He's trying to make it to church, but some health problems are keeping him back right now. We also taught the McVay's again. We found out that Mickie might be in the hospital again, but we haven't been able to get a hold of her, so we're not sure what's going on. We told Colleen to let us know if they needed a ride for church, but we forgot where we wrote down her number...so we couldn't text her and remind her. But she's super sweet, and she's a great kid!
Saturday we got to go to Aloha and see a baptism from my Companions old area and on our way home I looked over and there was this guy drive with an IV bag hanging from the visor on the passenger side! it was crazy! Then we tried to follow him so we could take a picture, but we were not successful! :/
Sunday (yesterday), we learned about treasuring our families in Relief Society, and it really stood out to me. I loved Sister Kuralt's comment that when she had a messy house, she considered her home "loved". Haha I thought it was so cute. We need to truly enjoy each precious moment with our family, because the family is meant to be eternal. That's what the temples are for! Our Heavenly Father has provided us a way to be together forever, and I'm so grateful for it! We also taught the Arnolds again, and they're still awesome.
I hope everyone has a great week! Don't forget to share the gospel and the love of Jesus Christ with everyone! It's the best thing ever!
Love,
~Chelstiene

Poor Oregon
Here is todays email

To Me
Oh my!!! So it started snowing
thurs. night and they told us to go home early. Then we couldnt drive till
today! So we walked and met members and played games! Snow days!!! No one here
in Oregon knows how to drive! Sister ferrel and I took a lot of videos and
pictures that I will be mailing you! This week was slow/ crazy! But it was a
good week! How was yours?
The snow was so bad for the Orgonians that we canceled church!
It seems so odd to me. But I guess if you don't get a lot of snow it would be different to drive in.
Sister Reeves also fount a beaver for one of the members
And in typical fashion Sister Missionaries can't park so the Elders tried to block them in. Alas Sister Reeves informed me that they were able to get out.
Just for a flashback here is Sister Reeves when she got Baptized
